Rebecca assisted in the delivery of a Playgroup transition to Kindergarten program for Playgroup Queensland funded by the Department of Education and Training. Rebecca’s role was to engage with and inform families of the importance of enrolling their children into Kindy.
The main reason of the program was also to help break the myths associated with Kindy and ensure parents and carers that the Early Years Framework was play based and non confrontational.
The program has taken Rebecca all over the state and therefore I saw her engage with a number of diverse families. These included low socio economic families, Culturally and Linguistically Diverse families, young parents, dads and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families.
Rebecca’s knowledge of the EYLF is thorough and her approachable style of delivery engages all, no matter what their level of understanding of the framework is or is not. All families have walked away with interest in hearing more with a number of these families following through and enrolling in Kindy.
Through her enthusiasm Rebecca has an amazing ability to adapt her delivery style to relate to families from all over the state, while being respectful of culture and local customs. Rebecca was able to speak with families about a number of questions that they had regarding Kindy and gave them the information in a way that empowered families to make their own decisions based on the needs of their family and thier children. Rebecca has a presence about her that draws and engages all children and families to her.
If the opportunity arose again I would gladly re engage Rebecca to deliver programs in partnership with Playgroup Queensland.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation and many thanks to Rose 3 for creating amazing resources based on the NQS and EYLF, which make documentation as a home educator so much easier. Rose 3’s immense wealth of knowledge in early childhood is to be commended, and I wholeheartedly agree with this philosophy.
I used to stress about documenting experiences with the NQS and EYLF, but now Rose 3’s resources have made this task so much easier. Rose 3 has brought back my passion for working with children and helping me ensure that all areas of national guidelines and frameworks are covered. Last, but not least, having easier documentation has relieved sleep deprivation form staying up to finish documentation.
Rose 3’s professionalism shines in all that they pen down, and I highly recommend Rose 3 to all educators, thus saving our sanity.
Thank you very much for all you do,
(Home educator for 27 years)
